My little guy had severe eczema and it looked just like that. I use Vanicream on it, you can get it at target or Walgreens and I cut back on how often I bathe him and it cleared right up! Get on top of it though because it looks like it could start getting bad and scabbing. That's what happened to us! He's 2 now and we still use Vanicream and bathe him every other night.

it COULD be ringworm but i remember when I had it, it was a more defined circle. ask your doctor to check it out.

Had she been anywhere where she could be exposed to ringworm? I'd get it checked out, if it eczema you can start by removing things that have perfumes, dyes and dryer sheets (anything free&clear) and start using cetafil (or similar product) for bathing and lotion washing clothes with a 1/2c - 1c vinegar in the load to better cleanse the clothes and get residue off.

Make sure the dr knows the difference between eczema and ringworm as well, treated my daughter for ringworm for over 6 months when she was a baby, ended up being eczema. Dr and nurses kept saying it was ringworm.
