Baby shower probs 🙄
My mom is insisting on throwing my shower even though my best friend offered which is fine with me, I have a big family so she can make sure they're all invited. Anyways there's 77 people on the invite list, but we only expect 50ish to actually show up. Anyways, she says she can't afford a bunch of food for the shower, which is fine I'm cool with just snacks or something, or I even suggested pizza. Well now she's doing mini sandwiches (like sub bites things?) and coleslaw and other stuff that I couldn't even force myself to like. The shower is in May and she warned me today to eat before I go because there'll be nothing there I like. Ok sorry but why should I be the only one at my own shower that doesn't get to eat? Wouldn't pizza just be cheaper? Be completely honest, am I sounding spoiled and entitled or is it kinda messed up? Idk what to do 😠I can't help pay for food and she won't let me anyways so I'm stuck with whatever she does.
