How do you feel about your man telling you not to do something because his ex use to do it? My friend told me that her new boyfriend doesnt want her calling him babe because his ex called him babe a lot and he won't call her babe. I think that's messed up but what do you guys think?

I can see if it's a unique pet name, but terms like "babe" are so widely used, that I'd be worried he's still not over his ex if he can't think about calling your friend babe without thinking about her.
