Do you announce an unplanned pregnancy?

We're not gonna go all out with the cute announcement pictures but I'm just wondering how I should do this. My family and close friends all know already. But I'm only 18, a freshman in college and just started dating my boyfriend like 5 months ago. Soooo obviously this was not planned. 
But I still want to be able to feel excited now that we've come to terms with it. I'm just hesitant to announce it on social media, to my extended family, etc. Should I just post/ send  an ultrasound pic in a few months? I was thinking of waiting until 20 weeks to. I'm currently 11 weeks.

I'm 18 too, and the first thing I decided after we chose to keep the baby was that I'm not going to let anyone or anything stop me from having a happy pregnancy! Share if you want to!

My boyfriend and I are having an unplanned pregnancy. We are going to do some cute announcement. We dont know what yet. I told all my close friends and family but hes excited to see the ripples of what social media has to say. Haha.

I think its up to you what you want to do. If you want to be excited i wojld totally do an announcement even if its just the ultrasound. 
Youre bringing a baby into this world! Its exciting and should be celebrated!!

I'm having the same issue. I know I'm going to announce somehow but I haven't told the rest of my close family and friends that I wouldn't want finding out on social media yet. My boyfriend left when we found out so that's more drama to deal with too, and I think I honestly just don't want to. We were together all of high school so we share the same friends. Do what's best for you!

Who cares what other people think. 
I had my first when I was 18 and wasn't with the father and long story short we lasted a year and he's out of the picture. 
Now I'm on my second and I got pregnant a couple weeks after I met my bf but weve been inseparable since the day we met he's a wonderful father and he acts like a dad to my 2 year old 💓 be happy if you wanna be happy who cares if it was planned a baby is a blessing. Announce it however you want!

I'm scared to announce my pregnancy because I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 5 month old and I'm 11 weeks pregnant my family knows but where I live all they do is judge around here and I'm not putting it out there that I'm pregnant until 30-35 weeks if I ever do post it I don't go out much where I live where others go don't be scared I had my first at 17 and I just turned 20 this month and having 3rd be excited you are still going to school and doing everything you should I was super excited when I found out about my son at 16 and I didn't know I was even pregnant until almost 5 months ...

I'm quite a bit older than you are but I'm in the same situation. We're definitely going to do an announcement! We're so excited and can't wait to tell the world. So I say if you're both excited go for it!
