I really don't believe that it's always true (but sometimes). I mean think about it, drinking can make you do stupid shit and lack good judgement, so of course some people say things they don't mean...

These sayings don't always hold true but they're sayings for a reason.......often they gold true. I'm talking about the saying that people show their true feelings when they're drunk. I went to visit friends out of state. We were sitting around drinking like we used to. One of my friends accidentally let ALOT of skeletons out of her closet that night. Once one tumbled out, more fell out. I think she didn't realize we were catching what she was saying because she was so drunk and could gauge our reactions as well.
