So I'm bleeding again!

I bled after sex for a week! It went away and I've been good until Friday I had a vaginal ultrasound im 8.5 weeks they saw the baby and heart beat was 164. And then today 2 days later I soaked my underwear and had a nickel size blood clot. It stopped bleeding. I'm just scared and worried last time I went to the e.r they saw a tear in my cervix the Dr checked it out a few days later and it was better she said I could have sex but really how safe is it if I keep bleeding every time there's something near my cervix? I don't go back to ob to have the ultrasound read for a week it's just unnerving. I'm sure the baby's fine but this is new for me.
