I got into my mom's cigarettes as a kid. I still remember the taste of them and how sick I got (from eating them because I was a stupid toddler), and it turned me against cigarettes for life. Now I'm with someone who's severely allergic to tobacco, so de-stressing with tea it is!

I used to smoke quite heavily, thinking that it helped with stress and anxiety (plus also being addicted to them).  About a year ago I quit and my anxiety has actually decreased a ton! Nicotine/cigs actually increase your heartbeat & blood pressure, which is similar to the physical response to stress, increased anxiety! Found that very interesting.

I tried that last year and it somewhat helped me but I would much rather take the green way if I had a choice.

I do. I'm a really nervous person with ptsd and anxiety problems since I'm a teen. I do smoke but only drink on birthdays and of course Xmas or new year's eve. Don't touch drugs neither. In my case, it would make my anxiety worse I think.
