My ob told me about a 60 year study that was published that concluded that pregnant women who were carrying boys and had at least two servings of dairy daily, significantly reduced the risk of heart disease later in life. I don't typically drink milk but I have been making sure I get my servings!

My doctor told me to get at least 3 servings of dairy a day, be it milk cheese or yogurt. It just needs to be pasteurized

I actually heard that the baby steals lots of calcium from you and it is VERY important to drink milk and eat cheese/yogurt to make sure you have enough calcium in your body for you and baby.

I think it can put you at risk for Osteoporosis later on in life if you get shorted on calcium during your pregnancies... But don't quote me on that. I just know the calcium is important.

No, milk is great for the baby. As a matter of fact, I CRAVE it sometimes. Which usually means there's something in it that the baby needs, unless you're having Pica cravings. Don't count those. Drink all the milk you want! 😃
