Kid free zone?

Would you pay more to have a plane ticket where no kids are allowed? Should fancy restaurants have the option of being child free? Should hotels have kid free sections? Any experiences you've had with children in a situation like this? I want to hear everyone's thought on this.

Yes, to all, and I'd also like a child free movie theater option. I love kids, and I love spending time with them, but not every environment is appropriate for children. It's ultimately the parents I blame not the children themselves.

Seriously stop bringing toddlers to R rated movies, and I promise I won't show up at Chuckie Cheese bitching about the noise levels.

I'm a bit of a cheapskate so I'm not really sure I'd pay more for stuff like that, but sure there should be child free places... Some people don't like rowdy kids, some people want a place away from it all and to leave the children with grandma, so if you're the kind of person who needs a place to bring a child along, simply don't go to one of these places.

Or in situations where parents refuse to fix the ruckus their spawn is causing we could just ask them to leave? It wouldn't work on a plane, but anything on the ground that isn't transport would work.

Honestly I'm surprised we're aren't doing that already, family place or not. It's one thing for a small child to cry or otherwise cause a scene, but another if the parents do nothing about it.

I wish there was a teen free zone too. 
There should be an 18 and older option for everything. Me and my fiancé went to six flags last summer and there was nothing but a bunch of annoying teenagers  there. Teens where acting like wild animals screaming, cutting in line and harassing people.

I went to see jungle book the other day and 2 kids sat behind me would have ruined it if it weren't so loud, the parents talked about how the kids were going talk through it before the film and then just didn't say a fucking word or take them outside while they jabber ed all the way through.

When my husband finally get a chance to have a babysitter and go to a fancy meal, it drives me nuts if there are rowdy kids near us. There's certain places you just don't bring your kids. There are plenty of family friendly restaurants to go to that I would never expect a quiet meal.

For restaurants yes. But everytime I've been on a plane, there's been kids but they weren't a problem. Of course they'd cry every now and again but I wouldn't pay more just to escape that

If private businesses want to offer kid free zones then they should be allowed to. They will offend many but also attract many.  Would I pay more for it? No, but I have 3 kids. LOL
