Doterra on guard toothpaste?

Is doterra toothpaste the on guard whitening safe while pregnant. These are the ingredients.

Check which essential oils are safe during pregnancy. On Guard has clove, which I'm pretty sure is not safe during pregnancy.

Fluoride is the only thing that would potentially be dangerous is very, very large quantities (like you ate 10 tubes of toothpaste). I'm not sure why anyone would pay $17 for toothpaste.... The one and only purpose of toothpaste is to provide fluoride to the teeth which prevents cavities. Yes, it makes your mouth feel clean and fresh, but your toothbrush is doing the work to remove plaque and disrupt bacteria.
