The heart rate and gender correlation is only relevant at a certain time... They've done studies on it and the babies heart rate changes a lot based on gestational age. I feel like it's around 12-14 weeks where the heart rate and gender prediction had the most significant results. I know my daughter had a "boys" heart rate later in pregnancy (below 140).

Wow! That's high with my daughter the highest hers ever got was 167. This one I didn't get a heart rate at my 10 week visit, baby was hiding from the Doppler too much to get a real reading, we only heard blips. But at 6 weeks the rate was 95, which is indicative of the heart starting to beat only 5 days ago. Curious as to what's going on with my little guy now!
