60 Days In

So I'm watching this show called "60 Days In" where seven people volunteer to stay in jail for 60 days in order to learn about life behind bars and to report back about what can be improved in the jail system. These people are housewives, cops, marines, students, teachers, etc. Most went in with the notion of inmates being rewarded with free health care, food, etc. Anyway the participants have to learn how to adapt to life behind bars very quickly and it's pretty scary.

So, my question is, would any of you volunteer to spend 60 days behind bars knowing that your experience could greatly improve the lives of people in jail?

Me personally, while I know our system needs great improvement and certain things need to be decriminalized (like drug addiction), I would be too freaking scared for my well being to participate.
