Thrifty shoppers??

Question

Babies can be expensive. Do you plan on buying EVERYTHING brand new? Do you plan on buying everything from 2nd hand shops or friends? How do you feel about used items?

This is my third child, second hopefully coming home. As a stay at home mom I'm huge on buying second hand! We will use a few items from our daughter, but she'll be 4.5 when the baby comes making her items 5 years old. The baby will need a new car seat and we plan on getting a new swing. Besides doing the nursery everything else is second hand. :)

This will be my second child. I will be purchasing items from thrift stores, mom to mom sales, online, as well as department stores. I love Babies R Us, and will be buying large items from there.

I love thrift shopping! There's nothing wrong with buying second hand. Esp when they grow so fast! If you have a Once Upon A Child store near you I would definitely check it out!
