Anyone planning on wearing makeup during birth?

As for me. I plan on doing my makeup in the hospital I feel as if I'm going to be in labor for god knows how long, that I should do something that I personally love to do & something that makes time pass by. I know makeup is not everyone's thing but it's mines and I will not be looking like I just got beat the hell up in my photos with my new baby boy.

I don't necessarily need make up but my eyebrows are not negotiable. So I told my husband no cold rags to my forehead once my eyebrows are touched up😂😂🙊 IM SOOOO SERIOUS

Nope... Messy bun and hospital gown... After this high risk, stressful, painful pregnancy I'm going to embrace focusing on birth and not worry about things superficial compared to birth... Just me my husband and our birthing unit...

I wore mascara and basic powder during both my son's births and I will again this time. I had relatively easy labors(no vomitting, straining, etc) and I don't even remember needing wet cloths at any point. I say if you want it done, go for it. Who cares if it's a "waste" if it makes you feel better about yourself?

I did but they gave me this one drug that kinda takes the pains away but also makes you feel drunk and from laughing so hard to the point I cried it wore off:(

My sister is the type of person who wears makeup on a daily basis. She had her son last year with no makeup on, bare faced. She looked absolutely stunning! So fresh and glowing;) I've decided to have my son makeupless as well.

I was just telling my fiancé I want to hire a makeup artist but then I remember my daughters birth and unless I find waterproof everything it's not even worth it. Lol. Good luck though

I love make up. I do a full face of makeup everyday I work plus my hair. I always said I wanted to do my make up before I gave birth. I'm so glad I didn't I was a sweaty mess not to mention crying and holding my face in my hands alot. Plus I got in the shower to ease the pain of contractions. I didn't have an epidural. I'd say shower after you give birth then do your make up.
