Anyone else trying NOT to lose their mind over Zika?

I live in Florida and I feel like it's only a matter of time until it's contracted here and not just a case of travel related Zika.

Don't live in fear. Take precautions when and if we hear of them, but otherwise you're going to drive yourself crazy fretting about insects over which you have no control.

I think it's good to keep updated as more information is being learned about this virus. They've identified the shape of it now which is good cause it might help classify it and that could lead to treatment. They've also strengthened the link to the microcephalic babies so it's not proven yet but the case grows stronger every day. It's good to stay informed, but don't panic about it. Wear your bug repellent, longer sleeves if possible. Try to minimize your risk of exposure.

I am in Miami.  I have honestly paid it no mind.  Mosquitoes typically haven't bothered bitting me.  I honestly don't believe it's real.  I feel like Zika is another ploy to distract people just like Ebola was.

My family lives in Miami and I've been here visiting for the last 17 days... I've gotten 2 mosquito bites and a part of me is so paranoid as it effects any possible pregnancy for up to 2 years.
