Well... you bleed for about 5 or 6 weeks directly after birth.  Then it depends after that when your regular period starts again.

9 mo pp 😩. Got my wish and wanted to get my cycle back so we can try for baby #2 in fall. Boy am I regretting my wish. My period's been so heavy. Still nursing my 9 month old daughter too.

I did the postpartum bleed thing for air two weeks. Then I didn't get my period for 11 months. I breastfeed a lot, started solids at 6 months, and occasionally gave him a bottle of pumped milk or formula if we couldn't nurse for some reason.
