Is my baby okay

My son is about 1 week old and he doesn't sleep in his crib. I'll rock him to bed then put him in his crib and he will wake up with in a few minutes, as soon as I pick him up again he falls asleep. His first 2 days at home he slept in the bed with my and my SO because he still had some mucuse in his mouth and would always gage at night. But now he doesn't sleep in his crib at all. Any advice on how to get him to sleep in there?
