Unenthusiastic husband

We had our first u/s yesterday, and while I was thrilled, clapping like a lunatic when we saw the heartbeat, and saw the sac and all that, my husband just kinda looked completely uninterested, like he could care less. I asked him about it later and said, 'Well I didn't really get what I was looking at, doesn't really look like anything yet'. Is that normal? Anybody else's husband not really excited because its not like baby-shaped yet?
