Registry completion help!

Ok, so I'm currently in a battle with my husband over what still needs to be purchased. I want to go ahead and buy everything like the convertible car seat, high chair, etc with some pretty good coupons I've been stockpiling although we won't need it for a few months. My husband wants to wait until it's needed because we don't have a ton of storage space. I dont know if it's just me wanting to be totally prepared and beginning to nest or if it's him being cheap. I also want to buy the car seat with a 20% off coupon at a store we don't have gift cards to and use the gift cards for other stuff on the registry that will be 15% off. We received a lot of cash that'll go towards it also. He wants to buy it with gift cards at only 15% off. I know it's only like $15-25 difference but to me that adds up! What do y'all think??
