Allergies 😠 natural helpers?

Hi mamas!

My seasonal allergies started kicking my butt today. Do any of you have some natural "remedies" that are safe for first trimester? I have itchy eyes and can't stop sneezing! I'm also getting married next weekend and don't want to be miserable or snot all over my dress haha. Thank you!

My doc said that Claritin, Zyrtec, Benedryl, and Flonase are OK. For a natural remedy, I recommend doing a saline nasal wash / neti pot twice per day. I find the squeeze bottle option a lot easier than a neti pot. It will wash out any pollen and dust in your sinuses. Supplements with quecertin are not recommended for pregnancy- studies have shown it can cause problems with fetal pole or neural tube development, something like that. I was taking this awesome supplement called Aller-C but had to stop once pregnant.

Have you asked your doctor? Mine lets me take my nasacort he says it's perfectly safe..
