I just got my Mirena in today, after a lot of thought. I wasn't on my period and I didn't end up getting any of the cervix softening pills. Procedure was fine, hurts 3 times for the like minute insertion. But I am now experiencing a lot of bleeding, which I understand would be normal ... But I have A LOT of clotting .. And since no one else I know has really gone through this - can some people give me some of their time lines ... Did you experience massive clots and for how long? I would say I have much pain or cramping anymore but I am pretty exhausted
