Considering the name...

Meg
...Malcolm for a boy. My husband has called me "Dove" for over ten years. The name "Colm" means "dove" in Irish. I really like that name but I think it's a bit hard to say.
Malcolm means follower of St Columba, Columba being a derivative of Colm. I think It could work. We could call him Mac for short, which I love since it also feels Irish (my husband is Italian so I want to make sure the kids have something Irish from my side!).
The thing is I have never met a Malcolm. I have no practice saying it in real life. I just don't know if it will work. What do you all think?
