He is ready

Me and my BF been together for 3 years. Our kids are the same age from previous relationships. I got pregnant a year ago and had a miscarriage. We wasn't TTC. We never spoke about it after that day. So yesterday we are washing the dishes and he brings up the fact our child who have been 1. This caught me totally of guard because we wasn't talk about children or family. Everytime our eyes met after that, he had a strange glaring look in his eyes. Do you think that was his way of saying he wants to have a a child?
