Pack & Play or Car Seat?

Which is the most expensive car seat or pack & play? Someone offered to buy me either one I preferred

I would pick out the car seat I wanted, pick out a pack and play and let them choose which to get. Or do A baby registry and give them the information so they can mark it off the registry when they buy it so no one else does.

Car seat I want is almost $300, but it is a 4 in 1.  Meaning i will never have to buy another one for my child:  4-120 pounds.

Pack n plays are less than $200.

Honestly a car seat is the most important thing to buy new. So I'd let them buy it. They can range anywhere for $40-$400+ it just depends on what you are looking for. A pack and play with out all the extras can be gotten  for like $40 new.

Ok pack n play var. From 50 to 100 n the cheapest carseat I've see was 50 and the highest was about 200

I got my pack n play for about 50$ for my first. Hardly used it. The car seat would be around 200 with a stroller.

Go with a travel system/car seat. The travel system is the better deal because you'll get a stroller, car seat and base.

Pack and plays aren't necessary. I didn't even have one on my first registry and I've only ever used one when I've gone out of town. I got a hand me down from my SIL.
