Peak OPK on CD7

I am so confused! I am ttc for my first and this is our 3rd cycle. I started using OPKs in the first cycle and have received my peak on cd12 and cd13-cd14 in the past. I started using the opk on cd6 and got low fertility and then today immediately got a peak, not even high in between. Is this normal or is something going on? I typically chart my bbt and the past two months temps confirmed ovulation following my peak reading, but this month I just started temping on cd7 bc we've been on vacation. We at least bd on cd7 and cd5, but not hoepful since I think early ovulation is bad.
