What's up with my vag?

My lady parts are itching a lot today and I have sticky white (slightly yellowish) discharge that smells fishy. I shower nightly but it just started today.

Yellow or green often means infection, either uti or bacterial, I would get yourself checked out honey! A yeast infection such as thrush or bacterial vaginosis is paired with external itching and you can get creams such as clotrimozole to help with the itch.. However be on the look  out for an odour in your discharge, and an abundance of it that might dry up thickly and crack over in your knickers, this could mean chlamydia especially when green. Also be on the look out for any lumps on your intimate skin as this could be herpes; unfortunately these are very common STIs and can be caught from unhygienic wax services etc not just sex! A frequent urge to pee will be cystitis, drink plenty of water and cranberry juice to alkaline your urine, this will reduce burning sensations! Avoid things like tomatoes, high sugary foods and too much dairy. 
On that note a simple all rounder for any girly issue is Greek/plain yoghurt! Eat it and apply it to your girly bits (it won't hurt you I promise) and the healthy bacteria will help clear up any infection you have :) keep area clean, cool and dry to prevent spread of infection; I suggest doing this with cold water with tea tree oil in it to disinfect, apply with a flannel and pat the area dry after! Try not to wear tight clothing or even knickers for that matter to help the skin breath. Try not to have sex as it will iritate.. If this is a post sex issue, for future reference always pee before and after and clean up with wipes or tea tree water straight away! Soap is a bad idea for us girls. If you feel dry and sore, a bit of Vaseline won't do any harm :)
