I am 37 weeks and 3 days, had a doctors appointment today and I am still just 1cm dilated and 50% effaced for the third week in a row!!! Not making any progress and it's so disappointing. I had to be induced with my first pregnancy because I didn't dilate at all up to 40 weeks. I really don't want to have to be induced again, because I was in labor for 36 hours the first time! Asked the doctor what I can do to help get things going and he said that there really isn't anything that will make it happen, he just has to come when he is ready. A little disappointing to hear but I guess I will have to hold out another two and a half weeks and hopefully not any longer to meet my little man. Any of you ladies had any luck with anything helping you dilate a little quicker??
