Been having a soar throat for a couple days now and was even sent to the ER by my DR since I had 103 fever Tuesday. I finally saw a Dr after a 3 hr wait which by then my fever had went down to 100.5. The Dr at the ER was so rude and I even felt like crying after speaking to him. It was more like I was being interrogated by the Police as why I hadn't taken anything all day for my fever. I told him I had been told I couldn't take just any meds since Im pregnant and he said, so you're just gonna let your little baby suffer!? I felt so horrible! He asked why didn't you take tylenol? I said I didn't know I could and he asked again the same question and I said I didn't have any at home. He then said, "Well you could've started off there Ill prescribe you some" I seriously wanted to punch the guy in the face for making me feel like the most horrible mother ever! They swabbed my throat and said I had no infection and when I asked why did I feel like I had thorns there and couldn't even swallow my own saliva the nurse said it was due to the fever! My soar throat came before my fever tho so I don't get it. I was put on an IV for dehydration and was sent home with Reglan for nausea and vomit. Im still suffering from this soar throat. Anyone has had a soar throat since being pregnant that could recommend any medication or natural remedy? I just want this to go away already😫😫😫
