Bald spots at 17? Thyroid is fine & I have this on both sides of my head. Any ideas as to why?

Is it damage from hair straighteners or things you use to style your hair? Ring and ask your hairdresser. I tend to have fine, whispy baby-like hair in those areas. It may be just genetic like mine

My mom has been going bald since she's been young. She ended up going to the doctor and found out she has alopecia which causes her to lose hair and leaves her with bald stops. You might want to consider going to a doctor or getting referred to a specialist

Idk why it's happening to you, but I have a very messed up hairline & I fill it in with eyebrow powder & it covers the balding spots.
