When do they start "checking" you?

Around what week does your OB start checking you for dialation and all that good stuff?😜 I'm 30 weeks and am starting my every 2 week appointments so just wondering what all she'll do😊 this is my 3rd but it's been 6 years so I forget!

With my 1st I had to ask my doctor to do it I was 39 weeks he said it wasn't necessary but did it only because I asked. I'm pregnant with my 2nd and due next week i'm already 39 weeks and doubt he's gonna check me

I just got checked for the first time this past week...I was 34+4 at the time

I don't get checked at all until labour and that will be minimal. Not sure why they check people so much. Knowing you're 3cm dialated means nothing. You can be dilating for weeks.

Almost always at 36 weeks, once you start going to weekly appointments.

I'm 29 weeks and been having lower abdomen cramping. She is already head down. My Dr wants me to come in next time I'm cramping so he can check my cervix

Mine starts at 36 weeks if you don't have any complications prior to that.
