Interracial Couples?

My husband and I are a mixed couple ( I am South African living in the US and he is Caucasian - French and Sicilian born in the US ). We have friends from all walks of life but would like to make friends with other mixed couples. We've lately had questions and would like to share experiences with other mixed couples. We most recently had a run in with an extremely ignorant person in public who thought it was his place to comment on why I wasn't with someone if the same race. These things happen and for the most part we are used to it but it's also hard to try and vent or discuss these kinds of issues with coupled friends who really can't relate.
