Abnormal finding on ultrasound?

Question

I found out at the 20weeks ultrassound that my baby boy have a cleft and lip palate.

Does anyone else is facing the same problem or any challenges on this pregnancy?

I would like some tips if you know somebody  or have experience with cleft babies. Thanks

I was told the same thing at my 20 week appointment. Baby boy has a cleft lip. I go for a level II ultrasound next week, praying for a little more information as to what he's facing when he gets here. I found this website really informative and helpful. It helped eased my mind a bit, bringing home our sweet boys may not be like we imagined but they will still be beautiful and we can do this! You're strong momma!

It can cause some difficulty with breastfeeding,  but cleft palate repair has come a long way.
