I just wanted to get this off my chest. I know what we are naming our son and I'm just meh about it. It's not a bad name, it's just too popular at the moment for my taste. I made a deal that my SO could name our son. We had a lot of family drama when thinking about names because of our different backgrounds. We were looking for a name that didn't have an presumed race attached. He thought about naming our son Leon and I like that because it can be used in many languages and is traditional but not super popular right now. My mother pitched a fit because she decided that Leon was a black name -_- and I quit talking to her. My SO later shifted to the name Liam and has decided to name our baby Liam Michael. Nothing wrong with Liam, it's just super popular. It does go with my older son's name, Rylan Gabriel so that's good. Still, I want to sigh when I tell people the name. Maybe it will grow on me. Boys names are hard for me anyway.
