Period late

I'm 8 days late and I was supposed to get it on the 14th of April and now it's the 22nd of April, I've had sex about 8-15 times sex since my last period did it maybe once or twice during it and also 2-3 out of my fertile days and all of those times he did cum inside of me, no protection or anything. I have a ob/gyn appointment on the 27th of April, should I see if I am pregnant? I know this probably sounded dumb, but I'm a first timer trying to convince, so I don't really know, thanks.
