Getting frustrated
Ok so my daughter will be 3 months old in a couple of days and I have been breastfeeding her since day 1 and having issues with producing "extra" milk for freezing. I drink anywhere from 72-90 ounces of water per day as well as 2-4 10 ounce cups of mothers milk tea per day. I am eating my usual 1800 calorie diet which includes oatmeal every morning and lactations cookies (2-3 per day) I pump after feedings (3-4 times) per day in which I get maybe 8 extra ounces per day on top of what she's getting while breastfeeding and I am currently taking the go-lacta supplements. Because fenugreek was making my little one too gassy.
My question is what else can I be doing to increase my supply? I'd like to freeze more so that I have a freezer supply for the what ifs. I spoke with a lactation consultant and she said I'm doing everything I should and can at this point but I'm beyond frustrated. Anyone have any tips or tricks that helped boost their supply? Thank you!
