So, my fiancée & I just split up a couple days ago because his mom. We have a son together & have been together since high school. His mom has never really care for me because when we bought our house, she had a key made (against our knowledge) & would just show up uninvited & unexpectedly. It got to be a real problem. Over the past month his mother has had some psych issues & my SO went to stay with them to help take care as he's an only child & his father has a bad back due to an accident. I haven't seen him nor has our son for the last month & a half because she is basically holding him there. EVERY time he tries to come home, she threatens to kill herself. Yesterday I run into her at the market & she says some ugly things & I try to ignore her & she then yells out across the aisle that I'm a bad mother & she can't wait to see my son taken from me. I then turn around & reply that she's a horrible person & I'll be praying for her & I dare her try to take my son. I'm a nurse, I've been paying for my sons daycare, formula, diapers, wipes, I carry his insurance, & I've supported him while his father is supporting his mother.. I text him yesterday to tell him but she had already beat me & he believed her over me. She fed him this wild story of j shoved her down & threatened her. At this point I'm crying, & he's raging. Finally she texts me saying I was a stupid whore, her son has found someone else, she hopes I die, she wishes bad upon me, etc. I screenshot the messages & send to my SO & he's furious, but still uses "she's having anger problems because her hysterectomy." This isn't the first time. She kept our son overnight so we could have a night to ourselves & she BLURTED out that my son was crying & she shook him till he stopped. He's five months old, he was about 2 months at the time. She told me at Christmas she hated me & doesn't see what her son sees in me.. I've had enough & can't take this, my SO never sticks up for me, or his son. My question is, was it right? She's made my life hell for the past 4 years, she refuses to be civil on the behalf of my aon, she's made threats about him, saying she'd kill him too, my fiancé never helps or sticks up for us & there's always an excuse for his mom. But anytime I defend myself of my son, he is furiated. What do I do?
