Ovulation strips/ help please?!

What does this mean, my friend needs help reading her test. Both taken this morning.  Thank you in advance.

It means she needs to dtd if she's trying ttc. The test is positive for an LH surge

For an ovulation test, the control line needs to be as dark or darker than the test line. Doesn't look like its quite there yet!
