Methergine after miscarriage?

Has anyone taken this? Took cytotec and I guess not everything came out but not enough to warrant a d&c. I'm on methergine to make the uterus contract and get everything out but I've taken 4 and nothing has happened? How long does this take?

Alexis, the doctor called back. She said I wouldn't necessarily see anything different on the meds but all that matters is the uterus shrinking by my next ultrasound. I'm starting to feel some mild cramping but nothing major. This medicine also reduces bleeding so maybe that's why we don't see a difference in flow. I just pray I don't have to have a d&c. Keep me posted on how you're doing.
