Understanding BBT !!

I started temping from last cycle , everything was fine last month . But this cycle I'm in CD22 I observed fertile mucus with little blood few days back so thought I'm gonna ovulate .. But there is no raise in my temp and no +ve opk's so far .. So I'm thinking I might not ovulate this month .. I just want to start my next month with hope .. But when can I expect my period without ovulation?? Please help me to understand .. I'm going crazy thinking about this all the time .
