I am on birth control and use this app just to track how regular my periods are. I had somewhat heavy spotting one day and then light spotting for 3 days a week before my period was due. My doctor told me this was normal and ovulation bleeding. But from what I understand you don't ovulate on birth control, along with other ways it can stop a pregnancy. But my period was due to begin April 20, I started my placebo pills on Sunday the 16th. I have yet to begin my period and today is the 22nd. I took a first response pregnancy test yesterday morning and got a negative. But today I have been very very faintly spotting. Like only there when I wipe, none on the pad. Sometimes not even when I wipe. I am having some very faint back cramps but normally if I were about to begin my period, once the spotting began the cramps would begin immediately and the blood flow would progressively get stronger. This is not happening. Can I be pregnant and have gotten a false negative? With a very sensitive pregnancy test?
