Hey ladies,

So I'm 26. I will be 27 by the time the baby comes. I am having a hard time telling my parents. For one thing, my fiance and I set a date for October 1st, 2016 to be married...my mom put a deposit down on the venue, photographer, and dj. It was set to go. So we went dress shopping and I found my dream dress. My dad was paying for the dress so after the appointment I decided to go tell him the cost since it was over budget. Before I left to tell him my mom dropped a huge bomb on me. She went on and on how I'm making a mistake marrying my fiance and that I'm going to be miserable my whole life with him and Yada yada. My dad said the same exact thing when I went to see him. Mind you my mom has had 2 failed marriages and has even dated my fiances dad so she thinks he's just like his dad, a controlling crazy freak. And he's not. We currently bough 30 acres, built a beautiful barn and in the middle of building our dream home. Because both of them were unsupportive of the marriage I am deathly terrified to tell them about the pregnancy. Both my fiance and I are over the moon excited, but I am still scared to tell them. They hurt me when it came to the marriage and I'm not sure I will be able to handle them being upset about a baby. Anyone go through something similar?
