Advice for thrush in babies mouth?

Picking up some solution the pediatrician has me giving to him but is there anything else I can do for him and I? Has anyone else gone through this?

My daughter is still getting over thrush

We got the Nystatin oral and cream. We haven't had to use the cream because she never got the rash.

But we've been boiling her bottles and nipples, constantly changing her receiving blankets and crib sheets because of the drools and whatnot. We also try to keep her hands out of her mouth and when she does put them to her mouth we clean her hands.

I'm not breastfeeding so I don't have to worry about that, but Dr said to wash nipples before and after feeding so it doesn't spread. If you purchase the cream you can also use that on your nipples.

We've had it too.... Use the mess dr gave you, but some other things that will help- Take probiotics and eat lots of yogurt! If you are nursing use the cream, allow your nipples to air dry as much as possible. (Yeast grows In warm, wet environments) Wash your nipples off with vinegar after each feeding not as well/ vinegar kills yeast.  If yiu can try to limit your sugar intake as sugar feeds yeast and can make it harder to get rid of.

Also wash your bras and nursing pads in hot water!

Be diligent with the meds and keep using for as long as you can even after symptoms go away bc it will come back !
