Should I be offended

So I'm watching my friends cat for a night. I went upstairs and the cat followed me looking at her door I turned the handle to make sure the door was closed and found it was locked... I don't know why I feel offended but I think she'd now me better then to go in her room and snoop or steal.. 😳
