In your pregnancy did your sciatic nerve ever bother you ?

I'm 25 weeks (gained 7 pounds from original weight) & my sciatic nerve hurts me so bad that I will drop to the floor in pain and just cry for a while before I can get up and limp to my bed. It's unbearable. Anyone else have this problem when they were pregnant ? & if you did I'm SO SORRY you had to go through this !

I am not pregnant but I do have sciatica. It is so incredibly painful, like people who've never dealt with it just have no idea. It is literally crippling.

With both of my pregnancies. But actually worse with my first. So bad that my hubby almost had to carry my big pregnant but to the bathroom in the mornings. I could barely walk sometimes.

Mine was the exact same until I went to the chiropractor for the first time in my LIFE. I was terrified by the way lol but he told me to buy a tennis ball and roll around on the floor on the side that hurts (or both)... I did it for about 5 mins/night for a week and then right after would ICE for 10-15 minutes and my pain completely went away! Please please try it! I know how painful it can get, I would have to lay on the ground to put my pants on, getting into my car was nearly impossible and just walking in general was terrible. Every once in a while I feel like it might come on again and so I roll it out and ice and have had no problems. Zero. It hurts bad if you're rolling it out in the right spot but you need to be aggressive. I really hope it helps and you find relief like I did!! 💕

Yes, so sorry you have this problem, best thing I ever did to help with it, was pregnancy yoga, I YouTube it, and started, and still to this day even though I'm not preggers, when my back starts to bother me, I do the pregnancy yoga and the next day I feel sooo much better!!! In my second trimester I would have to crawl to the bathroom multiple times a night because I physically couldn't stand it was so awful. It never really happened during the day though just a couple times but it happened almost every night until my third trimester it got better.

After my last baby, (nov 2014) I could barely walk in my last 3 months, I went for tests as my hip never recovered. Turns out my si space is narrowed! So I started injections and feel 100% better! I go every 6 maths and they inject the nerve and space around the nerve with a 3 combo injection. Steroid, anti inflammatory and a long term pain killer. So far I am 18 weeks into this pregnancy and no issues! I have been feeling great! I can't get the injections while pregnant as they use X-ray to guide the needles but as soon as baby is born I will resume the injections.

Yessss 😩 since around 14 weeks, now 25 weeks and it's bad. A lot of time I make my husband rub my right butt cheek because it shoots down my back to my bottom and it's so painful! Ask your significant other to massage it when it acts up.

I've had times it hurt so bad I just kind of fell to the floor. I didn't cry though but it does hurt a lot lol. I'm 29wks as of today and have had sciatic nerve pain since... Maybe 12wks (on and off).
