I completly forgot to post anything on here.... last friday i was sent to the hospital after my drs appt because i had high blood pressure and protein in my pee; they monitored me for a couple hours and it never went down so they had to induce me! After being in triage for 5 hrs i was finally moved to a labor and delivery room, after about an hr or so of being in there they put a bulb in me to make me start dilating. The cramping was bad so i got some iv pain meds that knocked me out! So around 4am saturday morning, they checked me and i was 3cm but not thinning out. So they put a cytoplast pill in to help.... i slept off and on until about 3 or 4pm and then they checked again and i was 5cm and 75% thinned. I decided to get my epidural cause i was starting to feel contractions. They didnt give it to me until about 7pm. I just relaxed for about 2hrs cause i couldnt feel anything. Then i got a bad hip pain (they said the epidural works with gravity so i might wanna lay on my side, but i didnt) i was just stretching my legs out and i lifted my right one and then there was a GUSH of water.... i called the nurse like "um, i think my water just broke." So they sent someone to check me and sure enough i was complete! Then about an hr later the pressure to push was so strong i couldnt help it! The on call dr didnt even have time to get there! The resident delivered my precious Stella Leanne at 11:51pm 4/16/16. She was out in 3 pushes, no rips or tears. I was up and walking around right after everything was cleaned up! They didnt expect me to deliver so fast, this being my first baby. But shes here and perfect!!
