What do I do? 😱

So I'm 99.9% sure I have a UTI. My symptoms started Thursday. Only problem is I have no insurance and I lost my job last month so I can't even afford to go to a walk-in clinic. I checked the local health department and they don't offer any treatment. I've asked everyone I'm comfortable asking for money but everyone I know is struggling as it is. I'm really worried because I read that if they go untreated it can lead to kidney infections, infertility and probably worse. Does anyone know ANYWHERE I could go?? By the way I live near Knoxville Tennessee. Feedback would be appreciated 😞😣

Drink lots of water and cranberry juice(which i freaking HATE) or take cranberry pills (which are in my opinion a little pricey) theres a medicine called azo that treats utis that you buy at the drugstore (i personally dont know if it fully works as i went to the dr after i figured out it was a uti but the azo did help the few days i took it before i could actually get into the drs office) it does turn your pee bright orange but thats normal. Its also sold in grocery stores a lot of the time i think where i am its found in the feminine hygeine aisle like near summers eve and lube and stuff like that. I also work in an er and (at least this er) is very helpful with payment plans for people that dont have insurance so maybe you could find out if any clinics near you can offer a payment plan (youll still have to pay but monthly instead of all at once) just in case this doesnt get any better... They can get pretty bad if ignored also theyre not comfy to begin with! Good luck i hope it clears up for ya!

I cured my UTI by drinking lots of water and cranberry juice. I mean lots and lots. Drink it all day and it should be gone soon

Get it treated if you can. In the meantime, drink lots of water, cranberry juice and if you can afford it but some over the counter cymalon (or similar). It basically neutralises it so it hurts less-good luck!

If it is a severe UTI then I really do suggest you get treated. However, whenever I feel like I'm about to get a UTI I take AZO pills which you can get at any drugstore, Walmart or target and drink ALOT and I really do mean A LOT of water. This will really help you feel better. I know that when I take AZO within 1-2 hours I feel so much better.

You could always look up the antibiotic that cures UTI's and buy it from the pharmacy instead.

You really need to get it treated. Idk about TN, but where I live, a visit to a walk in clinic is just under $200. If you don't have insurance, they require a $50 copay and bill the rest. It sounds expensive if ur struggling, but nothing compared to what you will pay if you end up in the ER or hospital because it has turned into a kidney infection.
