When can babies eat congee?

Congee is rice porridge (very soft like a mushy soup) that can made cooked with vegetables, meat, or egg. It's easy to digest and it's a popular food for babies or sick people.

I tried looking on google with no real answers, does anyone know if a 6 month old baby can eat congee?

I'm not sure cause I'm not an expert but it sounds like as long as it doesn't have the no no foods for the first year like honey, peanuts, or shellfish, a six month old should be able to eat it. I would just look up what kind of foods you can give a six month old and see if all the ingredients are on the list. I know a six month old can have rice cereal and vegetables for the most part so I would say yes.
