How often will you bathe baby??

I'm a FTM and I'm just curious how often we should be giving our new born a bath.

Babies really don't need baths that often. They don't get dirty, they don't get stinky pits or bits.

It's bad for their skin too.

Mostly you wanna keep their bum clean, of course. Also they tend to get milk into the folds of their neck, so you need to clean that up pretty often.

When you do bathe them, they don't even need much soap. Warm water is enough.

I would say "as needed". You don't want to over dry their sensitive skin, so planning on daily bathing isn't necessarily best. However, their may be stretches where you get a lot of explosions/leaks/messes where it's necessary to bathe them everyday.

You shouldn't bathe them too often it can cause their skin to dry out and crack. Only as they need it.

I voted every day because that is what we have to do with my daughter and have since she was a couple weeks old. They don't recommend it for their skin, but she has extremely sensitive skin and doctor recommended it. We used Cerave as the body was and lotion and her skin stayed super moisturized and no rashes! Guessing my son will be similar, but we'll see!

Bath every night but only with soap once or twice a week. I want to start a routine pretty early
