Tumeric and fertility

So I was taking tumeric supplement for a while for pain management ( was recommended by accupunture Doctor ). I stopped about 3 months ago because I read online that tumeric prevents conception. However there's also mixed messages that it doesn't have effect on fertility. I asked my obgyn but they just said its ok to take although since it's more like eastern remedy I'm not sure they know. My pain comes back and I'm just very confused about tumeric and fertility. Over the counter or prescription pain killer don't help with my pain. I'm currently on my 4th month TTC and in my 2WW. Does anyone know if tumeric prevents conception or any negative effects? Any thing on this is appreciated
