How do you choose a Travel System?

Hey ladies,

I'm starting to look into all the different types of car seats and strollers there are out there.  It's so overwhelming!

I know I would like an infant car seat that I can have multiple bases too, (one in my car, my fiancés, etc) that I can remove and put on a stroller/carry around. I also heard that the strollers with just 3 wheels are easier to manuver.

How do you choose?? There are so many. 😥 any suggestions would be great. Or show me what you have bought and why!

Everyone's giving you opinions but not telling you how to choose. Go to the store, go to the travel system area and test drive them. Try taking them apart and opening and closing the strollers. I developed really strong opinions very quickly by seeing which were easiest for me to use. It seems silly and takes forever, but really go give them each a try.

The reason there are so many options is because people are going to like different things. Most options have separate bases so that you can purchase more than one for your car and your partner's car.

I originally had a graco on my registry (mainly because I didn't want me or anyone else spending over $200 on a stroller and car seat)
Ended up with a $400 Chico set (stroller, car seat and two bases for the cars)my moms friend was selling that she used for a while with her daughter for only $125
Normally I would never buy a car seat used but because I know the person and I know that it hasn't been in any kind of accident I was ok with it 
I did push the stroller around and made different turns with it to make sure I liked the feel of it and put the car seat in and out and all that. You kind of have to look at them and test them out to see what you like

We went with an Uppa Baby Mesa bc of how safe it is and for how easy it is to install and adjust as the baby grows. The price was worth it as we won't have to buy an extra base since it literally takes 10 seconds to install with latch. I recommend doing research to figure out what's important to you in a car seat. Baby gear lab has a good review of car seats.

We went with the chicco bravo le stroller and the keyfit zip carseat. I love this system.

We chose the Chicco Bravo travel system and I LOVE it!  My daughter is 12 days old and it has been so handy!

We have 2 bases and the car seat clicks in and out super easily!  The car seat also clicks easily into the stroller (and then the stroller can be used without the car seat when she's older) and is super easy to fold up and maneuver.

I have been very happy with our choice!

I tested out the Britax and Chicco and they both have 4 wheels but still very easy to maneuver. I'm going with the chicco though.
